Serving means moving from spectator to contributor. Each week, dozens of volunteers work together at His House to serve our church body and others in the community. Christians are not meant to simply “get fed”; we are to use the gifts God has given us to help others and build His Kingdom. Jesus was the ultimate servant, and we are to model our lives after His.

But volunteering is not just about helping others. What you’ll find when you volunteer is that serving others is also the best way to grow in your relationship with God.

Host Team

• Greeting Team
  Welcomes everyone who comes to our church and is stationed in specific areas
  
• Usher Team
  Welcomes guests into worship center, helping them to find seats, receiving offering, and making guests feel at home
  
• Parking Team
  Creates a friendly and fun experience in our parking lot by directing traffic and keeping spirits high
  
• Golf Cart Transport Team
  Continues the engaging environment in the parking lot by picking-up and transporting guests
  
• Hospitality Team
  Provides refreshments prior to service
  
• Guest Services
  Answers questions, directs guests to parts of the facility, and provides resources to help people become fully devoted followers of Christ

Creative/Technical Arts Team

• Musicians
  Plays with the band on Sunday mornings and for special events--audition required
  
• Vocalists
  Lead worship Sunday mornings, and/or provide background vocals for worship leaders--audition required
  
• Production
  Runs audio, lighting, video production, stage design, and records services
  
• Graphic Design and Communications
  Assists in graphic design and print materials
• Website
  Assists with adding content/creating/managing webiste
  
• Video Production
  Assists with creating and editing promotional and sermon videos for the church's needs or the website

Care/Outreach Team

• Mercy Team
  Coordinates needs for person recovering from illness, hospital stay, or meals following a funeral
  
• Special Events
  Coordinates activities pertaining to that event

Lifegroup Ministries Team

• Hosts
  Open up home or area for Lifegroup sessions
  
• Lifegroup Leaders
  Facilitate LifeGroup sessions for a group
• Childcare
  Assist with taking care of children during LifeGroup sessions
  

HHKidz Team

• Team Members
  Lead a Lifegroup of elementary children through a weekly discussion
  
• Check-in Team
  Help people check in their children to HHKidz
• Tour Guides
  Walk first-time guests and their parents to the appropriate environments and introduce them to the teacher
  
• Lead Teachers
  Teach and lead a children's classroom
• Support Teachers
  Assist the Lead Teacher in classroom environments
• Production Team
  Setup and run audio, video, and lighting in the HHKidz area
• Reserved Support
  Help out wherever needed in HHKidz

HH Student Ministries Team

• LifeGroup Leader
  Lead and assist in LifeGroup discussions, discipleship, and development of relationships with high school and middle school students
  
• Hospitality Team
  Extends a personal touch by preparing and providing snacks for every student and cleans up hospitality area afterward
• Security
  Helps maintain a safe environment for the students while participating in weekly services and other special events
  
• Production Team
  Setup and run audio, video, and lighting during HH Student Ministries service
• Reserved Support
  Help out wherever needed in HH Student Ministries

Van Ministry

• Provides transportation for people that need a ride to and from weekend services on Sundays and HH Kidz and HH Student Ministries on Wednesday nights

Reserve Support Team

• Willing to support any team as necessary
